My Thoughts
This was another book that turned out to be a novella. Something that by the end of the novel I was disappointed that it had ended. I didn't like this book, I did sort of like it at the beginning, it had a good plot structure, but by the end it just..well it sucked. And because it turned out to be a novella I feel there were loads of things, the author started to explain but didn't finish explaining or explain enough.
Somethings I found were very confusing or unclear and as the novel continued it only became more confusing. I also found that the author ended it in the middle of something good yet again. The author left so many branches open, she could have at least gone on because she left things unfinished. Because of the way it ended, I highly doubt that anything she started to explain will be finished in the rest of the series.
I don't recommend this book at all and for once I'm thankful I didn't spend a penny.

My Thoughts
I don't know about my luck lately, I keep getting short books and they haven't turned out to be very good. This book however was an exception. This book was short but it came to an end where the others didn't. I really enjoyed this novel. It was quite hilarious, and I never quite knew what to expect. This author was a first time read for me and I enjoyed her writing style.
The characters were alright though at times especially in the beginning it felt like I was reading about this teen girl, there were moments when I felt the main character Hannah acted in a childlike manner but I guess this was just her personality. She really changed over the course of the book and you didn't really see it so much in the end.
The world that the author created is still a little bit unclear with the fact that it introduced alot of supernatural characters but it didn't go into detail and I felt it left me wondering about said supernatural character. Maybe more will come to light in the rest of the series.
It was still a very good read and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something quick and sweet and if your into the whole supernatural mythical being things.

My Thoughts
I always give a book many chances before I wave the white flag on books I've absolutely lost interest in. With that being said I've never not finished a book and had to post a review.
The Reveler series has good structure, I really did enjoy the first one, except for the fact that it was only ten short chapters and seemed to cut off when it was just getting good. Enter in the second novel and it's a whole new character pov. I feel kind of robbed. I don't like Maisie at all and being stuck in her pov kind of sucked. I was just getting to know Jordan and Rook when Maisie and Steven rolled right in and took over. Again like the first the book is short but as short as it is I've lost all interest in finishing it.
